To set up an email account, log into CPanel then follow these simple steps:

• Click on "add/remove accounts"
• Click on "Add Account" (bottom of the page).
• Fill in username and password, and decide on disk space.
• Click add

You have now created address@[domain]

If you wish to retrieve (or POP) your email's from the server using software such as outlook express, you must first set up an email address in the CPanel.

Once you have done that, use the following settings in your email software:

• E-mail address: whatever@[domain]
• Incoming (POP) server: mail.[domain]
• Outgoing (SMTP) server: Provided by your dial up ISP (or use mail.[domain] - but will be slower).
• Login name: whatever@[domain]

Remember to replace [domain] with the actual domain name of your hosting account.

To set up an email forwarder:

• Log into the CPanel.
• Click on "Mail menu"
• Click on "Forwarders"
• Click on "Add forwarder" (bottom of screen).
• Enter the e-mail address and where you want the mail to be sent in the "Forward to" field.

To access your webmail:

Go to www.yourdomain.com/webmail/ (replacing yourdomain.com with your website address) and log in with the one of your POP3 addresses and passwords already set up.

This method of reading emails online allows you to offer email accounts to your visitors, simply provide them with an email address and password and the link to webmail!
